The Settlers Room décor with its antique cast iron double bed reflects a little of the past, but with modern comfort.  It has an en suite bathroom, and  views of the harbour through the bush and lovely afternoon sun.  It also has wheelchair access.

 Pacific Room

The décor of the Pacific Room reflects a mix of   Pacific Islands influences, including NZ and Australian, collected from our travels and interests. It has a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom and fantastic views of the harbour and mountains.

Breakfast at Totaranui

Wake up each morning to the smell of freshly baked rolls and enjoy a delicious freshly prepared breakfast, served in our kitchen dining area overlooking beautiful Parua Bay and Whangarei Heads.    Living as we do in the heart of the New Zealand countryside, we make the most of the fresh foods available from our garden and from the local Growers Market, so our sausages and bacon come from locally farmed and prepared animals, our fruit and vegetables are grown or sourced locally, and our breads, yoghurt, muesli, preserves and eggs are all homemade.   For further information, please see our Green Charter page.
